Puzzle Over

The Aljazar volcano makes for a fascinating research subject for professor Galdi Tatton, despite the fact that it demands regular sacrifices to stay asleep. There should be many candidates, yet a sudden series of assassinations leave the professor as the last choice for the matter. In what may be his last moments, he decides to settle matters with his fiancée… but he’s not giving up on finding a way to live either.

Puzzle Over is a Visual Novel with Picross puzzles, which are also known as nonograms. It is made for the  Don't Make Fire Emblem Game Jam with the SRPG Studio engine to showcase the extent of its capabilities, and as a personal challenge.

Due to the jam's limitations, the story in the current version is only the beginning of a longer one.
